About me
I am a communications specialist who, having worked both agency and client side, has a full understanding of the agency process, from managing relationships to taking initial briefs through working with creative teams to respond, and pitching the results. The target audiences have been varied and often for a commissioning client (internal or external) who is not a marketing expert. My abilities to provide independent, clear analysis and to embed the most appropriate (but not necessarily the most popular!) solution with a range of individuals have certainly been put to the test on both sides of the fence. I have experience of working internationally, creating integrated solutions for clients in Europe (particularly Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, France and Spain) and Asia (India, Singapore and China).
Although I started my communications career in the digital space in 2000, I have worked on many integrated campaigns, and thus have a solid comprehension of not only how to drive the conversation online but also how to maximize a full range of communications techniques. Working mostly with HR clients has also meant that I learned quickly how to create successful creative strategies on a low budget – a skill of perhaps particular pertinence in the current economic climate!
